2013 Queensland Derby – Betting Odds Released

The 2013 Queensland Derby is due to run at Eagle Farm Racecourse on Saturday June 8, 2013, and early betting markets have now opened for the race.

Survived is currently favourite to win the 2013 Queensland Derby and is paying odds of $3.70 at bookmaker.com.au.

The three-year-old  placed second in the Group 3 Rough Habit Plate behind Hawkspur at Eagle Farm racecourse last start.

Prior to that run, the Zed gelding won both the Group 3 Manawatu Classic and the Group 3 Hawke’s Bay Gold Cup in New Zealand.

Survived has won five of his eight race starts and has earned more than $120,000 in prize money.

The talented stayer is trained by John Bary at Hastings Racecourse and will be having his first attempt at Group 1 racing in the 2013 Queensland Derby.
